Who we are
GazeCam is an independent random video chat platform. This policy covers the GazeCam website and the video chat experience available on it.
What we collect
- Account data — the email address, username, and profile details you provide when you register.
- Usage data — pages you visit, matches you start, and features you use, so we can operate and improve the service.
- Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, and device information, used for security and abuse prevention.
- Reports and moderation data — the content of a report when you flag a conversation.
We do not record your live video conversations for marketing or profiling.
How we use it
- To match you with other people and run the video chat service.
- To keep the platform safe: detect abuse, spam, fraud, and underage accounts.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To understand how the product is used, in aggregate, and improve it.
Retention
We keep account data for as long as your account exists. Moderation and safety records may be kept longer where needed to prevent repeat abuse. When you delete your account we remove or anonymize your personal data, except where the law requires us to retain it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can request access to your data, correction of it, deletion of it, or a copy in a portable format. Email [email protected] and we will act on the request.
Age requirement
GazeCam is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and we remove accounts that appear to belong to one.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date on this page and, where appropriate, notify you in the product.
